Colloidal gold
Gold has been admired for centuries for its rarity and its use in craft. We use our own 60 PPM colloidal gold solution when making this soap.
That 60 PPM figure is the concentration of the solution added during production. It is not an independently measured amount of gold in the finished bar. You can learn about colloidal gold, or see the separate colloidal gold liquid.
Coconut oil
The soap base starts with pure coconut oil. During saponification that oil is transformed into the cleansing bar. Coconut oil is the sole base oil. It is not the only ingredient in the finished soap.
Coconut oil soap is known for a lively lather. As with any cleansing soap, a strongly cleansing bar will not suit everyone. Particularly dry or sensitive skin may prefer a milder cleanser. Read more in the coconut oil note in our ingredient library.
Jasmine absolute
Jasmine absolute gives this bar its rich floral aroma. It is the scent used in the recipe, rather than a general claim about every jasmine material.
There is no separate jasmine page in the ingredient library yet. The colloidal gold face cream is a different product, with its own formula.
Handmade in small batches
This colloidal gold and jasmine soap is made in small batches by Crystal Health & Beauty, so each bar has its own handcrafted character. Minor variation in colour and finish can be part of a handmade bar.
How to use and care
Wet the bar and work it into a lather between your hands or on a cloth. Wash the skin and rinse with water.
Keep it on a draining soap dish and let it dry between uses. Do not leave it sitting in water.
